In 2017, the Federal Government of Nigeria granted approval for the Institute For Tourism Professional (ITP) to organize the annual Transportation Tourism Summit and Expo in partnership with the Federal Ministries of Transportation and Information and Culture, and other public and private stakeholders.
The inaugural event, held in 2018, yielded a comprehensive Communique' that now serves as a vital resource for industry professionals across public and private sectors in Nigeria.
National Tourism Transportation Summit and Expo is organized to promote dialogue and cooperation between key players in the transportation and tourism sectors, supporting sustainable economic growth and development. It provides a unique platform for stakeholders in both the tourism and transportation sectors to engage in an All-Participatory discourse, exploring opportunities for collaboration and synergistic interplay between the two industries for maximum economic benefits in Nigeria.
